Day #10: AAC Awareness Month -- Say What You See

Sometimes the hardest part of teaching someone how to use AAC is knowing where to start. Well, start with what they're already telling you! They may not tell you using words yet, but everybody communicates something, even if it's as simple as them paying attention to something in the environment or ignoring it.

This technique helps ensure that we're teaching words to AAC learners that will be meaningful and motivating for them.
