Day #11: AAC Awareness Month - The "I Want" Trap

Requesting things you want or need is important, but it's so easy for an AAC learner to get stuck in the "I want" trap -- where everything they say begins with "I want", whether it's a request or not. Or where they think everything they say requires a 3-word sequence, so they have trouble learning to use 1- or 2-word phrases when appropriate.

One way to avoid the trap? Teach a variety of ways to request!

Bonus points if you use this like a bingo board for aided language input.
